テニスコーツとの共演盤で音楽ファンの支持を集めたSECAIの並木大典によるソロアルバム『きさき』。今作は、2012〜2022年の10年間に制作されたトラックをいまの感性で再編成した、叙情性豊かなアコースティックアンビエントである。タイトルの“きさき”には、兆し、軌跡、先、きらめきなど、並木の音楽を導いてきた複数のイメージを重ね合わせた。

壮大かつ緻密なアンビエントは、アナログシンセサイザー(MS10)やギターによって最初のモチーフが作られている。また、映像作家としての顔を持つ並木は、日常的にフィールド・レコーディングを行い、自然や日々のなかで記録してきた環境音をサンプリングする。

モチーフの上に何層にも重ねられた生音。独自の感性とたしかなセンスに裏打ちされた抒情詩は、各々に等しく注がれたこの世界への愛と抱擁、生まれたての輝きで満ちている。大きな自然への畏敬と、日々の営みへ繊細な眼差し。いつか観た映画のような懐かしさと、手の届かないものへの憧憬。そのすべてがひとつの音楽としてここに存在する。

Secai's Daisuke Namiki, who garnered support from music fans with his collaboration with Tenniscoats, releases his solo album "Kisaki". This work reorganizes tracks produced over a span of 10 years from 2012 to 2022 with current sensibility, creating a lyrically rich acoustic ambient sound. The title "Kisaki" combines multiple images that have guided Namiki's music, including signs, traces, future, and glimmers.

The grand yet intricate ambient music is crafted from initial motifs made with an analog synthesizer (MS10) and guitar. Additionally, Namiki, who is also a videographer, regularly conducts field recordings, sampling environmental sounds he has captured from nature and daily life.

Live sounds layered over the motif. These lyrical poems, underpinned by a unique sensibility and a certain sense of aesthetics, are filled with an equal love and embrace for this world and the glow of the newborn. There's a reverence for great nature and a delicate gaze towards daily life. A nostalgia reminiscent of a once-viewed film and a longing for the unreachable. All of these elements coexist in this single piece of music.
